Senior Backend Engineer at Playground

In Playground Dev, we're backend and fullstack engineers and working with product companies in Stockholm (such as Warner Bros, Meitner, Mojang and many more), where we boost their development process. 🚀

We're a team of 5 people today and a part of a larger group of 60+ experts in Stockholm. Specializing in product development, we cover front-end, back-end, and full-stack development. Our focus? To be the go-to partner for software development. We thrive on collaboration, innovation, and initiative, all wrapped up in a fun work environment! 😄

What will you do?

You'll have the opportunity to immerse yourself in both long and short-term projects as a Senior Backend Engineer Consultant at Playground. Whether working in-house or directly with clients, your role is pivotal in our phase of expansion, with many new clients in the pipeline. Your assignments will be thoughtfully matched to your skills, past experiences, and personal interests.

  • Get involved in client projects
  • Collaborate closely on our in-house clients
  • Engage in backend development using Java, Kotlin, Go or TS 👩🏼‍💻
  • Contributing new ideas and creative solutions
  • When not assigned to a client, initiative and improve the company 💚

We're Looking For

  • At least 5 years of experience in building backend systems
  • Have good knowledge of Java, Kotlin, Golang or Typescript
  • Have practical knowledge of deploying to cloud services such as GCP, AWS, and/or Azure.
  • Skilled in building APIs
  • Can communicate fluently in English
